Very good question. I unfortunately, have experience in a few different diseases. LOL From cancer to children's diseases to diabetics..you name it, it's around. I do think every family has experienced cancer somewhere. I have yet to find a family who has not, and that is unfortunate.

We adopted our now 6 year old daughter from Russia and she has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. There is no cure. I live with her everyday and will do whatever it takes to take care of her. In addition to that, she has Reactive Attachment Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, etc. I've learned a lot.

Both of the above 2 Hubs are ones I have published already on disorders I've dealt with first-hand.
I will not admit to be an expert but regarding the first hand experiences part and some effects I have experienced from others; here goes.. I have an understanding regarding Depressions, Paranoia, Schizophrenia, and Borderline Personality disorders. I have taken care of children with asthma for months, night and day. I have survived Dilated Cardio Myopathy which all the professionals find hard to believe that I am off medication, running and singing since it was coupled with a congenital ASD with a heart failure condition after childbirth. A grandfather that shows Alzheimer condition.
