Critical thinking skills are one of the most (in my opinion) valuable skills to develop in professional life.  Critical thinking will enable us to proceed on a task or create a project that is way more effective, has better content and communicates what is needed.  In our organization I am one of the older workers and my younger colleagues tell me they are learning a lot from the way I get them to question things.
