Photos of the Saizeriya Menu
If you're traveling in Japan and hankering for some cheap Italian food, Saizeriya is the place to go. The Italian restaurant chain can be found all over Japan's major (and less major) cities, and offers consistent, delicious, and affordable italian food- with a fun Japanese twist of course.
Saizeriya is particularly foreigner-friendly because of its menu, which offers both helpful photos and lovely photos of all the dishes you can order. You needn't know any Japanese to be able to get exactly what you want!
One thing in particular that I love about the Saizeriya menu is that, in addition to English descriptions and photos, each dish is listed along with caloric information, so if you're watching what you eat, you'll know exactly what you're ordering.
Because I'm such a big fan of Saizeriya and its menu, I snapped a bunch of photos of its menu. The photos were taken with my phone, so they're not great, but they do the job alright!
You'll see that the menu is broken down into sections: salads, soups, appetizers, gratin / doria, pasta, pizza, steak and hamburg, and desserts. All of the dishes taste great, and since I've eaten at Saizeriya a bunch of times, I've had a chance to see nearly all of them in the flesh. Oooh... I'm getting hungry just thinking about them!
The Saizeriya Menu... In Photos!

I just find it very comforting!), but more often than not, comfort food is not particularly fancy or special.
Have you ever seen or eaten at a Saizeriya? What do you think of it? Let me know in the comments!
